Great and informative guide! I highly recommend having a guide, whether a private one as we had, or in a group, because you won’t get as much out of the visit or understand the palace and its history just by walking around. We really enjoyed the visit and were intrigued by the mystery of the place!

We really enjoyed our tour and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. Though the additional cost of the private tour, compared to entry alone, makes it a higher could excursion than other trips, it was definitely worth it and having toured other areas before with guides, we felt the value is hard to beat as you can imagine the places so much easier and learn other pieces of information too. We visited after 6pm which was perfect as the sun was not as strong as during the day and there were no queues, meaning we got to see all we wanted to. The atmosphere is lovely at this time of day too.
