One of the best activities we've done, by far! Special thanks to our two guides and our driver: Christine, Thalia, and Thanos. The journey from Chania was long, but we didn't notice the time passing thanks to all of Christine's explanations on the plateau: mythology, traditions, cuisine, and even vocabulary. In other words, we were stuck in a traffic jam for an hour, and the time just flew by. Thalia, the guide for the Palace of Knossos, is not only very sweet and kind, but she is also passionate about what she does. You can tell, and it's a real pleasure to listen to her. Thanos was also part of the team, providing excellent driving and, when he could, engaging in very interesting conversations. Sure, you have to pay for tickets on-site, but that gives you flexibility. For example, we didn't want to visit the museum so we could spend more time in the city, and this way, it was possible. Go for it without a second thought.
